As the end of the 2017 Nations Cup series draws closer, British Eventing are pleased to announce the squad for the penultimate leg of the 3* competition. Hosted in Waregem, Belgium, from 21st – 24th September, the combinations are as follows;
Sarah Bullimore with her own 15 year old gelding Valentino
Harry Dzenis and Charles Macdonald’s 15 year old gelding Above Board
Franky Reid-Warrilow with her own, Neil and Claire Reid-Warrilow and Bruce and Stephanie Gardiner’s 14 year old mare Dolley Whisper
Georgie Spence on her own and Suzanne Doggett’s 11 year old gelding Halltown Harley
Great Britain maintain their lead in the series with a current point total of 560, helped by their second place finish at the Le Pin au Haras, France, leg in early August. The GB team hold an 80 point advantage over closest competitors, Germany, with just two events remaining in the nine event series.

19 - 23 July: CICO 3* Aachen (GER) – 5th place
10-13 August: CICO 3* Le Haras du Pin (FRA) – 2nd place
22 - 24 September: CICO 3* Waregem (BEL)
5 - 8 October: CCIO 3* Boekelo (NED)
The GBR Eventing teams are supported by the National Lottery funded Equestrian World Class Programme a portfolio within the British Equestrian Federation. The programme focuses on identifying talent, developing potential and maximising medal-winning performances on the world stage.
