Andy Thomas
Andy is a specialist in the field of musculoskeletal provision in the equestrian world.
He is the physiotherapist to Equestrian Team GBR and travelled as part of the vital back up team for the squad at the Beijing Olympic Games out in Hong Kong in 2008. He is also Human Sports Science and Medicine Lead Practitioner for the World Class squads, which involves managing the squads needs throughout the year.
Andy has done a lot of work on identifying rider problems through musculoskeletal screening to identify imbalances and weaknesses that contribute to common rider errors. He is an experienced lecturer both at national and international conferences
He also holds contracts with the Lawn Tennis Association, providing cover for their national tournaments. He has extensive experience in athletics, football and rugby union.
