Lucy Bell
Lucy is 27 from Leamington Spa, and has been involved in vaulting since she saw a demonstration at the age of 9 at her local pony club camp. Since then she has competed in over 30 international competitions, including World Championships, Europeans and World Equestrian Games between 1998 till 2008. Lucy has retired internationally but continues to vault nationally, including finishing 3rd at 2008 British Championships.
She is a level 3 Vaulting coach and CSP/ HPC registered fulltime human physiotherapist at Nuffield Hospital, Warwick.
Besides Vaulting Lucy competes BD, BSJA and BE and has had international experience in eventing including Necarne, Bramham CCI** and Blenheim CCI*** and was once long listed for Young riders.
Lucy has been BEV Chef d’equipe since 2008, where she took a squad of 56 to the World Vaulting Senior & Junior Championships in Brno- Czech Republic .
