Dr Peter Whitehead has an extensive equestrian background, both as a horse breeder and also in his previous role as the Chief Medical Officer for British Eventing before taking on the post of Director of Human Sports Science and Medicine for the British Equestrian Federation's World Class Programme and Team Doctor for the British Equestrian Olympic and Paralympic Teams. With a Masters degree in Sports Medicine and being a full time GP, it seems Peter is certainly up to the challenge of managing the medical expertise of his team.
